This is the transcript of a conference delivered in 2000 by André Vergez. The author proposes a global analysis of Charles Fourier’s thoughts, with special reference to its metaphysical dimension.

André Vergez (décédé en 2006), était professeur de philosophie à l’université de Franche-Comté, grand connaisseur de Fourier (entre autres), indéfectible soutien pour l’Association d’études fouriéristes ; il a notamment publié un Fourier en 1969.
